About Sandy
Sandy Plachy brings operations experience to her clients. She has had bottom-line responsibility
for multimillion-dollar enterprises and has worked with boards, bosses, peers, and hundreds of
subordinates.
Before becoming a management consultant more than 20 years ago, Sandy managed a law firm and
developed and administered alternative health care delivery systems.
For over 25 years Sandy has maintained a close partnership with the American Management
Association as a course developer, course leader, conference speaker, and author.
In the 1970s she developed some of the first programs designed especially for women and has led
several international forums for women in Mexico City.
